  1. Men's club KofC sit and sew

    I know I have written about this ongoing sewing project. I have 10 tunics sitting here and 54 were completed with the help of so many extra hands. We started the morning with 5 women and 5 men as the day progress more joined us for the fun. At one time we had 9 people at sewing machines and 4 men cutting and 3 others who were doing clean up and sweeping up threads and scraps or cooking for us or just plain doing other things to make our day go great.

  2. The nightmare quilt continues.

    Yesterday I did my best to try and remove Wonderunder from the quilt back I posted the pic of yesterday. No luck . So I had to make a decision to go ahead and try sewing the pieces on as they are. I look forward to gummy needles and a lot of difficulty when it comes to quilting this quilt.
    The thing is I must get it finished. I have had it sitting hear for a year already and someone is waiting for it. It is so difficult to correct someone else's work ...
  3. Ready - go - Start!

    This will be my first blog posting. I have not had any kind of blog since my BBS day some 20 years ago. Back then I would write and provide a great many ideas and services on the WWW. I had a very active web page that saw 100's of people daily. I provided everything from mystery quilts to swaps. It was fun but also a lot of work. Those FIDO/USENET days were the early day of computer networking.
