  2. Scrappy Strip Quilt

Just pulled a quilt off the longarm machine and am so frustrated. The back had a center with a border all the way around - I thought I had it all figured out so there would be a border all the way around once it was quilted, but the bottom of the quilt top came just to the bottom of the interior square ... no border on the bottom.

I am glad this is a 'charity' quilt, but and the recipient will never know it wasn't supposed to be the way it is, but it is so frustrating. I thought I ...

  10. New Lap Quilting Hoop

    by , 09-25-2012 at 12:20 PM
    Hello, everyone!

I have been quilting for seven years and find myself needing/wanting a new lap hoop. I have the traditional round 14" hoop (very old and flimsy) without a lap or floor stand attachment and l am looking into investing in a newer, more solidly constructed hoop. I have researched the newer ones on the internet, but still cannot decide which one will best suit my needs. There are quite a few new options, and I was hoping that some of you might be able to offer feedback ...
