  1. Does anyone else have anxiety designing a quilt???

    I have been quilting for almost a year, made 2 quilts I have loved, and now I am in the beginning stages of designing a quilt for my grandson's twin bed, 3 years old. Every time I start the process of figuring out how I want to design a quilt, I get so much anxiety, I made the carpenter's star, now I want to try and design the quilt around it. I get cranky and tired, at times I want to give up. That's where I am right now. I am frustrated with myself, I am worried I will not be able to figure something ...
  2. Lighter Machine?

    Does anyone suggest any old sewing machine reliable that
    is light weight for travel, and does at least zigzag? I see the
    little singers for $100. but I can't think that it would last.
    I am looking at yard sales, but even to get one and fix it up
    is going to be $100.

    Well I think I am getting my self in a fix, LOL such a lovely place to be. I have been thinking I need to get a little red barn shed to sit next to my dye cottage, for my finished quilts and hand dyed fabric, that I will have for sale. Now think I will need it it more than ever, as I have a new disease called machine-itess, I really have enough machines, 4 Pfaff 7570's which I love dearly. And a couple of other Pfaffs and a Pfaff serger. One nolting mid arm, and 4 little beauties, my Singer 221's, ...
