Just wondering if anyone is having any problems with there HQ AMARA I purchased mine at the end of August this year it worked about three weeks and I had problems. Couldn’t get the computer to do anything. Took it in to be repaired they had it three weeks and couldn’t fix it. So I was told I was getting a new machine. Went and picked it up, I was so excited to use my machine. It worked two weeks. I was sewing away and I’m not kidding it just quit like someone pulled the plug. I had nothing, no power ...

I am new here. My sister gave me a Wizard 3KC 8844 today. I am trying to find a manual for it. I want to clean it up and get it running, so it can be used for sewing again. First glance, I can see it needs a new belt. Would like to know where I can get parts for it also.

  5. Bernina 830 LE

    by , 12-13-2018 at 06:40 AM
Hello everyone, I am new to this forum.

I hope you would be kind enough to give me some advice on how to go about selling my mom's Bernina 930 LE embroidery machine with Long Arm and a library of designs.

I am not a quilter so this machine is way over my head. (My mom has passed in Aug and I have no one to consult.)

Can anyone suggest a buy and sell forum in my area, or a dealer who buys used machines?
I live in Southwestern Ontario, Canada.

Aloha! My name is Jess. Mahalo (thank you) for accepting my request to become a member to “The Quilting Board”
I was 4 years old when decided I wanted to learn how to sew so I could make quilts! Well, it’s taken me 40 years to find a class. Never mind, I have many talented seamstresses and creative project sewers in the family.
My best friend of 35 years is truly amazing! I want to make my 1st quilt for her. She recently purchased a custom built rare blue sofa that took a year to be ...

  8. queen treadle machine

    by , 12-11-2018 at 03:25 AM
I was given a queen treadle machine that is in need and wondering if it's worth fixing up. The paint on top of the machine is peeling and one leg of the base is broken, so it's propped up. The bobbin is in it and attachments also. I've tried to upload pictures - but no luck. Our local sewing machine repair man doesn't think it's worth his time. Would it be worth saving for parts for someone? What do you think?

I didn't have a pattern but used the you tube video as a guide. I've made three so far and have another one cut ready to sew.
