    I have been asked to make a raggy quilt. It has 84 7 inch minky squares and 84 7 inch flannel squares. it also has flannel in the center. finished size is 40x70. How do you figure out the price?

    Back in 1998 I purchased a Jasmine Heirloom Quilt Frame and I simply loved using it because it eliminated the need to baste. Due to family issues I had to no time to quilt but now that has changed and I am back at it. Problem is I cannot find the original instructions to my frame and I cannot remember how to load the 3 rails that go to it. It also appears that the company has gone out of business.
    Is there anyone who might have the instructions or who could tell me how I would load ...

  5. Westinghouse Motor- Consolidated Sewing Machine Co.

    I have a westinghouse motor on my vintage singer 66 machine that I just inherited, the sewing machine is great. I am trying to find out if the motor needs to be oiled or greased. I am used to the singer 221 motor which has wicks on the motor to be greased. This motor has 3 holes, on one the shaft which I think needs to be oiled and 2 on the body of motor which have no wicks. The label on the motor says Style 951314, Consolidated Sewing machine and supply Co, and westinghouse electrical, a manufacturing ...

    I was gifted a Minnesota A treadle Machine. I canít find a serial number on it and I would like to figure itís age. I think it was manufactured by Davis because the needle is very long. Itís in a Victorian box so it may from the late 1800 to early 1900ís. It was well loved and used but still works. Thanks for any help!

    Hi everyone.
    My friend introduced me to quilting and I haven't stopped since. I guess I got the BUG that I was told about. She invited me to go with her and her friends (20) to the Quilt show in Daytona Beach, Fl. OMG, I was in aw at every quilt I saw. We spent all day Friday there (9am-5pm) and then again Saturday morning (9am-noon). I was exhausted. We stopped at several Quilt stores on the way up and on the way back from Daytona.
