  7. Vegetable Patch

This is a quilt I made for my husband who loves gardening. It is made with vegetable fabrics I collected, and it is the original Turning Twenty pattern (though I made it a Turning Thirty so it would be queen-sized). I had it quilted in a blowing leaves panto by Penny Jurgens (Marshfield, MO).

    Finished 2013.

  9. Plaid Flannels (Upcycled)

    by , 03-18-2014 at 11:16 AM (Angelia's Quilts)
I collected flannel shirts, dresses, pajamas, etc. for years to put together this quilt. The blocks finished at 8", and I used crochet cotton to tie it. It is queen-sized, backed with flannel, and has two layers of 6 oz. polyester batting inside.
