What are you working on this summer, assuming that you have a summer. Here in Wpg MB guess one can say it has arrived considering already Aug.1 when fall is thinking of stepping in very soon. Mix bag..

I was away from this site due to high cost of cable srvc but missed it greatly. Joined a Canadian legion and made 3 quilt tops that found batting yester and a good large stencil next which transit take me in another direction.. Planted more flowers and potatoes this year and did lots of lawncutting with all that rainfall in JUne/july.

Good morning from BC where it's been 30* for days now, hoping your weather improves. We were in Wpg in June and had decent weather for the couple days we visited.
When you mention you joined the Legion and then made 3 tops, did you mean you made the tops with a group through the Legion or ?
Not sure if I'll find my way back to this blog... I just saw the Calling all Canadians as I was clicking my way off the main page .... Have a great day!

I joined the Royal Canadian Legion, seeking vltr work and it had me join women's league.. I saw an opportunity to maybe make baking and sell to legion members, and maybe introduce my music skills for pocket change. Royal legions accept outside members due to the aging of war vets, military, para military retirements unable to find finances to keep monetary to run the place. I'm trying to find them members so they don't have to shut down. I just happened to come across this legion by luck, entered and was pleased with the clientele. When it rained in MB I worked on my quilt tops 3 different. Don't know how to post pictures from my library document page.
