Christmas Gift Ideas?

I'm sure I'm not the only one that has the thought every year, "I'm going to be on top of things next year. I will make gifts throughout the year." The holiday season has popped up out of no where. I don't have the first gift made.

I have been pondering the thought of using some of my scrap muslin to make some cathedral window Christmas ornaments. The only thing is, I would prefer white and my current stash is cream colored. I figure being that I am working on a quilt in that pattern, it would be a good idea. My plate is already overflowing so we will see. My creativity needs to get sparked so I can come up with some embellishment ideas. Time to take a gander in the forums.

This is a unique twist to the usual CW ornaments I have seen. http://lynbrown.com/three-d-cathedral-window-ornament/ I would have to study on it a bit to figure it out. With the right choice of fabrics & embellishments.. this could be very elegant and classy.
