I am making a Hello Kitty quilt for my Goddaughter who is five years old. I do not yet know how to do free motion quilting. Right now I have used masking tape to make lines for my quilting.

Does anyone else have suggestions? Since it is a panel I do not have any seam lines to follow. I've been trying to upload a picture but I'm not having any luck. Any suggestions.

I also made a Hello Kitty quilt for my granddaughter for Christmas. In some of the blocks I did diagonal stitching. I made one line then put on the bar attachment to keep my lines all the same width. In some of the other blocks I did stippling stitches. Hope this helped. You can also use a Pilot frixion pen. They remove by heat. Just use a one inch ruler and go to town marking.
