I am so new to this. I've made several quilt tops and table runners. I've made a Halloween table runner for my daughter in law and I want to quilt it very simple my standard sewing machine. I've tried 606 spray adhesive to sandwich the quilt with VERY poor results. Now I'm thinking about using iron on fleece as my inner batting. Making tops of so easy but such a big dilemma when putting it all together. It's a simple table runner. Thank you for any easy suggestions.

I've used the iron on fleece and had very good results with it.I just make table covers and wall quilts so I don't know how it would work for bed sized quilts. It's easy to quilt even doing big stitch which is the only way I know how to hand quilt.

You can also use fusible batting! I've used it for placemats and it works nicely.
