    Sew at the beginning of the year I began to redesign my sewing space and organize my fabric. What a process it was but well worth all the tedious folding and sorting of fabric. I had grown out of my space and needed something new. First, I switched the position of my machine, cutting table and ironing board. This has mad a huge difference and I love the new set up.     In the Fall of 2013 our basement was finally finished and I would get a dedicated sewing area! The posibilities were endless and I didn't want to make the "wrong" decision on cabinets and create something I hated. At first I thought I would get a dedicated room all to my self but that didn't happen. It turns out I really enjoy sewing in the same space as the TV and Toys. The space is big enough for all three and I can sew and still be a part of everything, supervising kids or watching ...
  3. Taking Risks

    As the year 2017 comes to a close I am taking some risks. I have been quilting for 16 years, but sewing on and off much longer, and have made many quilted projects both by hand and machine. This blog is a way for me to keep a journal of my projects as well as share and memorialize my triumphs and oops, I learned what not to do again moments.
