Machine sewing on binding problem

I spray baste my 3 layers together and have no trouble with the fabric shifting...when applying the binding. ( No walking foot)

    Try using less pressure on your walking foot.

    To cope with this problem you can leave the needle down, lift the presser foot and smooth the fabric in front of there presser foot with a little tug. You may have to do that every few inches. I think the problem could be too much pressure on the presser foot, but some machines just work that way. You could also use your walking foot and see if that helps.
