During the Thanksgiving holiday I and my 5 grandkids in 1 family made the cutest craft, I saw this on a site? a quilt site. I bought a set of red, can be any color, glass balls. Dipped the kids hand in white paint, think fun and funny snow people, had them each hold the glass ball in 1 hand. Then remove their hand, Now their fingers have made 5 tallish white shapes. After these dried they used a toothpick to add faces, coal buttons OJ for a nose and a top hat in black. Then a date on the back. Each glass ball took on the personality in 5 faces of snowmen! these were adorable. So glad that we did them! Even the 2 yr old on Oct 28th made 1.
Tied pieces of fabric for a hanger and they are done!
Blessed is the heart
that hangs its hope on God~~~

•Age Guideline: 3 Years and Up
•Time Required: 30 minutes (Does not include drying time)
The above age and time guidelines are estimates. This project can be modified to suit other ages and may take more or less time depending on your circumstances.

Materials Needed:

•Christmas Ball Ornament
•White Paint
•Black Marker
•Paint Brush
Every member of the family will have fun making these ornaments. Make it a tradition every year and you will be amazed at how much your kids' handprints grow.

Start out by painting the palm of one hand white. Grab the Christmas tree ball with the painted hand so that the palm is on the bottom of the ball and the fingers go up towards the hanger. Each finger will be a snowman so try to spread them out a little bit.

Hang up the ornament and let it dry and then you can add details using a marker. You can add dots for the eyes, nose, mouth, and buttons; and also draw arms. Don't forget to write the year on your ornament.
