Quilt Progress Motivation

When I jump into a project, I end up diving in with my head and both feet all at once. I never seem to be able to do anything small, lol. With this being said, I find myself procrastinating due to the time consumption and slow progress by hand. A friend of mine was working on the same type of quilt as I and the same goal dimensions. We sorta pushed each other forward. We would text each other as we had finished certain # of blocks, etc. It seems as if she has packed hers away or lost interest. Therefore, I am back to self motivating myself. One would think you wouldn't need this type of push when it comes to doing something you enjoy. I have always had a love for quilts; wanting to create such beauty as others have done. My eyesight causes me frustration as I hand sew. I have to wear magnifying glasses x3 strength to see my stitches which ends up giving me a headache. I usually am not one to let this hinder me but thinking I might go back to crocheting after I get this done. I have a lot to learn in that department as well, but at least I can see the yarn, lol.
