Two blogs....do I have the strength???? lol Will give it a go and see how it works.

For this one I'm going to cheat a little bit and repost the quilting class pics I have on our other blog...for those who maybe haven't found our original blog. If you have already seen this, I apologize...but then, you'll get the see the awesome quilts the quilting class put together for a second time.

I thought I'd share a few pictures of the beautiful quilts that the students in our beginning quilting class made. First, none of the quilters were beginners, but everyone expressed they enjoyed the class and did learn some new tips and tricks, which is the whole point of a class.

We decided to do a large quilt sampler, and the class ran for 8 weeks. Lots of dedication by the students, and it definitely paid off in some gorgeous quilts. The neat part, I think anyway, was the fact that we had several 12-inch blocks and numerous 6-inch block designs to choose from. Each person could pick and choose which block designs to use in her quilt, and with the variety of fabric choices, each quilt is unique. Way cool!

The last quilt top is mine....now just waiting on Kevin to work his magic with the quilting
