The first quilt I made was in 2015, “Hot Diggedy Dog” for my “new” granddaughter (my son married a woman with a child) for her 11th birthday. It is reversible with pink and purple prints on the back. I did Quilt As You Go and quilted each block differently, by hand and machine on my sewing machine then joined them all together. The second is made from an alphabet panel, with some interesting animals, and is machine quilted. They love them, and me too.

These two quilts are just darling. I love all your fabric choices. I just know your grands are going to love them.

The dogs look wonderfully animated. And you did such a nice job anchoring all the pink and purple with some more neutral tones

Beautiful. I love these and can see why they do also.

Very cute! Especially with the names under the Alphabet Animals. You've done what I've been thinking about, appliqued animals on QAYG blocks. Beautiful results.

This is so very adorable and your grand babies will always remember this.
