Sewing at night

I find myself doing a lot of late night sewing, I am not sure if it is good for me or not but I seem to get so much done and when I get into the grove of a project it amazes me that I can actually sew for hours and not even know it is really the next morning and I started late in the afternoon the day before.

The really scary part is when I pick up the phone to call my daughter and then realize it is 3:00 am, good thing I looked at the clock first!

Does anyone else do this? Right now I am living alone so it doesn't cause any problems, except phone calls, either me making them at the wrong time, or me getting them way to early!

So what is your favorite time to sew? Early or late?

Yes I actually do. I get to sewing look up and dang it's already 4 in the morning and hurry off to sneak in bed before husband gets up at 4:30 am. He gets so mad at me when he knows he only sleeps next to me for half an hour or hour.

Yes, do it - not the phone calls though. One night I was sewing and wondered why I was making silly mistakes. When I looked at the clock it was 5:45AM Where had the night gone? The trouble is that it means I am half sleep all the next day.

There is something very soothing and mezmerizing about sewing where you just get lost in a tranquil mental zone and time means nothing. Yes, I have done what you do often enough to not question where the time went when I look up at the clock and so many hours have passed without my noticing it.
