  1. Labeling Great Grandma's Quilt

    I have an unfinished crazy quilt made by my great grandma that's been in my closet since my grandma gave it to me. I'm finally going to complete this lovely quilt, so maybe just once it can be used for it's intended purpose. Then it will be saved for display. How should I label this quilt? I know who made it, but do not know when she started it. She passed away in 1936.

    I have spent months working on my grandson's wedding quilt, now I am down to the label. I have written so many trial labels I am dizzy.. I am not sure what is best. Here is the basic info...

    It is their wedding present from me.. the groom's grandmother

    The date I am going to put on it is July 2013 - the month of their wedding.. the day is the 27th. Should I include that?

    I NEVER use my given name.. but should I use it here as the maker? They might even be shocked ...

  3. Quilt label pen?

    Three years and the never ending King size Cathedral Window Quilt is still in progress. I have been thinking as I go. Question.... I have never done a label so was wondering what to use? Something that would be permanent and not run. I am wanting to write on the fabric itself instead of attaching a separate label. I see all of these that can be printed on your printer but wouldn't the ink run and/or wash out? I am thinking my logo plus pertinent info. Any advice would be tremendously appreciated! ...
