    Does anyone know if the embroidery attachment for the 440 will fit the 635? They are both about 2 year old machines. Thanks to everyone on quilting board - I love seeing all the awesome projects!!!

    I am new to this site. Actually just found it a couple days ago by total accident while surfing the web for free quilt patterns. I never knew a place like this existed !!! But now I'm hooked !! I have been a quilter for a several years, but have just recently began to do more of it. I also knit, crochet, and embroidery. I stay busy and are hardly ever bored.

    I just finished piecing a table runner for my mom for Christmas. Haven't got any pictures yet. I will try to get a couple posted ...
  6. Noodle quilt With Embroidery from last years noodle swap

    Last year there was a "Noodle Swap" ( 2 1/2 strips like jelly rolls) that I took part in, I completed 1 quilt right away, then got working on this one - finally put it on my bed since I had planned it as a "Summer Quilt" thought I'd share, as the noodle swap prints were so nice, and I haven't seen another swap of this type - anyone else from that swap completed any quilts?????

  7. Suggestions for a Quilting Machine

    I am interested in buying a sewing machine, for both sewing and quilting. I'm not a beginner, but my memory has been affected by chemotherapy so, I should get one that has ease of use as a feature, just in case. I will have to keep on learning how to use it, because my short term memory is that bad.

    I'm expecting to pay about $600. If it makes a big difference, I can spend up to $1000 at the utmost, obviously prefer to spend less. If I had my desire, it'd be a dressmaker, quilting, ...
