I'm so glad he didn't, but think how happy he'd have been if he had died from receiving your quilt; certainly would make you happy not guilty for it, LOL! What a lovely gift, what a precious reaction. You both sound like pretty special people to me.

UPDATE

He called me again today and I was right. He took it to church today. Lol!!! He had to share how everyone loved it. Apparently, my relatives are all requesting one of their own. My cousin told me he responded by saying that when they turned 100, I'd probably make them one, too. But he said itmprobably won't be as beautiful. Now you know why i love this man so much...
