My dad is getting ready to travel to see me in Dallas, TX< from Seattle, WA. We insisted my brother drive with him. Dad first entered Galveston, Tx when he was young and was brought to the US by missionaries from the Phillipines. He arrived in, um, early 1920's, served 36 years in the Navy and every morning fixes breakfast, cleans house, drives his friends if they can no longer drive and visits with friends. He was ready to jump in the car and drive half way across the US. His age? 103. I should live so long and be so active, he wears me out! And I don't have his genes, I'm the step daughter. Everytime I see an active older person it heartens me.

Unbelievable! She doesn't look over 70! How wonderful to be that age, physically fit, and mentally aware!
