Springfield, IL had 18.5" ~ TV said it was the most snow on a March day as long as they have been keeping records. I think they said almost double the previous record!

It's just NOT fun anymore, is it. I am sooooo sick of winter this year. There just seems to be NO end.

I'm in Jersey County just across the river from St. Charles, MO. We have another snow day today, I'm guessing the roads out in the county aren't in very good shape. Neighbor did come along and help finish the drive. Always a good thing. Youngest daughter lives in CT and she is also tired of 5 months of winter, for me I like the snow, but then I don't have to drive in it!

wow, it does look very pretty though, but i know how much work that is from my days in Ohio, the last snowstorm was always the worst, I feel so lucky I live in California now.

It has been about the same here in central IN. The snow is starting to melt now. Will be glad to see it go.

At the risk of feeding the stereotype about Canada I have piles of snow higher that the top of our 4x4 truck at the moment and taller than me by a lot. The snowblower has stopped putting snow over the top of the snow banks, it just hits the side of them and gives up. In fairness, this is out of character for us too. They're predicting about 50F for later this week, I think we may go from snow dumps (more than 2 feet in 3 days, over the course of a week) to flooding. Alberta isn't known for moderation in its weather. We'll go from snow, to suddenly green, it's really weird.

Is this winter ever going to end??? I am so ready to see some green grass ... I am even looking forward to mowing the acreage instead of shoveling the drive.
