Default 4-patch Valentine Heart Ideas!!!

4 Quick Valentine's Crafts for Decorating your home:All are made from a 4-patch square!

Turn your quilt scraps into a 4-patch Valentine hanging heart or heart pillow!

Take any of your left over squares of equal size and make a 4-patch.
Cut a heart from the 4-patch.
Using your 4-patch heart you just created as a pattern, cut a backing for the heart.
Sew the hearts pretty sides together leaving an opening for turning and stuffing.
Turn and stuff and hand-sew the heart closed.

Ideas:
**Make a BIG 4-patch heart for a pillow for your sofa using 8" squares.
**Make a small 4-patch heart using 4" squares, and add a folded ribbon for a hanger before sewing the back and front together to hang in a window, or on a mirror, or on a Valentine' day tree.
**Make several small hearts using 4" or 5" squares and place the hearts in a decorative bowl!
**Make a BIG 4-patch heart and DO NOT stuff it. Instead sew up the opening and now you have a Valentine heart candle mat or heart shape doily.

Enjoy!

I love making "mug rugs" and have several patterns that I use for gift to friends and family. This would be another great idea to add to my collection. Thanks for sharing.
