June 19th was our 40th anniversary (which was also Father's Day). My husband (good man) not only forgot one, but both of them! When I gave him the cards & gifts, he said "Oh!", & then proceeded to pick everything up as though it was all Fater's Day stuff.
I didn't react or guilt him, I'm just wondering if he's "not tuning in" so well. My Mom died last year with Alzheimer's & the doctor said she was in mid-stage & we were in denial for a long time.
Am I looking at the same thing here?
