"It's the water, the water, the water, the water that makes Olympia beer..." (maybe just from the Northwest)

"From the land of sky blue waters, (waters), from the lake refreshing, Hamm's the beer refreshing, Hamm's the beer"

(There was no beer at my house either- we just all had advertising!)

Loved the Coke (Hillside Singers)- "I want to teach the world to sing in perfect harmony". .. Still love that one- I used to teach it to the elementary kids (without the coke part)

Hi, My name is Buster Brown
I live in a shoe
This is my dog Tige
He lives in there, too!!!!!

(Every September Mom and Dad would take me to the Buster Brown store and I would get my school shoes for the year - brown oxfords - hated those darn shoes. Hated the fluoroscope too, I could see the bones in my feet! Edie

Bet no ones singing that any more.... makes you wanna cry...

Hefty, Hefty Cinch Sack but my daughter would say Hucky, Hucky, Sick Sack because that's what she understood.
I remember the Chiquita banana girl dancing around. I'm Chiquita Banana and I'm here to say...
can't remember the rest. Maybe someone else can.
I was thinking of the Texaco star also since my dad owned a Texaco station.
Hey, Hey, were the Monkees, people say we monkey around, but we're too busy singing, to put any body down. Just trying to be friendly... from their TV show.

From the land of Sky Blue Waters - Minnesota - the bear was the main logo for the commercial. The Hamm's Bear (get it?). I don't think they make Hamm's anymore. Their Brewery was humongous! I don't drink beer either (Oh, I like O'Doul's or a NA Beer)! Edie

Google "We're the Men from Texaco" and you'll get the whole song/commercial. It was one of the best commercials ever. Edie

For your father - google "we're the men from Texaco" - song, click on lamsproductions, scroll down to the bottom where it says "We're the men from Texaco", click on. There is the whole song - actually a few of the Texaco commercials. Absolutely brilliant. Enjoy. Edie
PS - I sure hope it works!
