18 inch doll clothes are addicting.....really.....not tedious like Barbie clothes and not huge like people clothes. The Americana collection (preprinted , cut out and sew) got me started and a pattern book and now pixie faire... it is so much fun sometimes with leftovers from quilts (sundresses) and..... they all need a doll quilt! Rather than the dress form I 'rescued' a doll from an after holiday sale bin and it was less than 1/2 the price of the dress form. The one variable to watch for is the size of the waist, that can be an inch or more variance from doll to doll and depending if they are always in a doll stand. Sorry this topic really got me chatting.

Beautiful little dolls - all dressed in their finery! I would have loved them (well, I guess I still do - lol). Those sleeping bags are awesome - slumber parties here we come...

Love the red and white. Well I love them all but that is my favorite. I have been doing this for my GGD for Christmas. Would love to make a pair of shoes. Would you mind telling me what you use for the soles?
Thanks

Thank You everyone for your kind words. I have been making doll clothes for over 25 years but for the last 3 years for the AG dolls. Just started making the shoes and I need more practice on them, a learning experience for sure.

nena the soles are made from the craft foam. There is 3 layers for the bottom......1st is the material such as vinyl....2nd is a piece of stiff cardboard.....3rd is the craft foam. I used hot glue to put all together with.
