If you have never seen the movie "Benny and Joon", they show the charactors making grilled cheese with out using aluminum foil, just the iron. BTW - Great Movie!!!

Never thought of the dryer thing- might have to try it!

I was told by a quilt appraiser to use aluminum foil on the wooden dowel on quilt rack so quilt would not touch the fabric because wood deteriorates fabric.

I hadn't thought of that! I need to remember that and tell my DSIL about that.......she has several of her late grandmother's quilts hung on wooden "ladders" around her house.....they look so pretty on these "ladders"!

Nice to know. It also makes a great cat toy. Roll a loose ball, toss on floor in front of kitty and have your camera ready!

I've done the ironing board for years grandmother showed me that.I'm going to try dryer one though!! Thanks!!!
