It would be "licensed". Likely be expensive to buy, too.

Hadn't thought of that - my neice just got her 1st American Girl Doll and wants me to make her some clothes so thought I'd try a doll size quilt. Maybe I'll use other material that would match one of the dresses I make.

I have never seen fabric. But I know about 25 years ago, when they first started, they had patterns for the orig. clothes for some of their dolls. I still have those pattern. My daughter had one doll, but I made several outfits from the other dolls for her doll to wear. I do not think they sell the patterns anymore.

If you are interested E-bay may have them.

I've never seen fabric with AG dolls on it. But have made clothes for the AG doll. I did find free patterns online for an old AG doll. I've printed them out, just haven't made them yet.

Here's a site with original outdated AG doll patterns for free.

Any 18 inch doll pattern will work and they are less expensive. I bought a book with about a dozen patterns in it and you can make lots of different outfits from those. I made about 40 different things for Christmas. Poodle skirt was the favorite.

Thank you for this link. I have a 2 1/2 year-old granddaughter for whom I want to make doll clothes "someday"!
