I use Firefox. Under Options, you can select to block pop-ups. I haven't seen the ad you mention.

Mine had been turned off. I turned it back on and it will be interesting to see if I get anymore of the pop-ups. Thank you for the info.

I use Norton to keep the pop ups from popping. Last week I was having those pop ups a lot and it was because the subscription ran out. Hubby renewed it and no more unwanted pop ups.

You can turn pop ups off
go to TOOLS at the top R hand side of your tool bar
click and a drop down box will have a pop up blocker to turn on. Run your anti virus malwear checker and update them frequently. daily checks are good if you use the net every day

I don't have it. I have AdSubtract, Trend Micro and PCTools Registry Mechanic on my computer. I rarely get any popups and those that do are blank and automatically disappear.

I also get this and only on Quiltingboard. I reported it to the admin as well. I live in MA too.

This happens on both my home and corporate PC. If it were just my home PC, I'd believe it could be adware, but our corporate PCs are so heavily protected that I can't believe we would get adware at work.

Go on the internet and find a FREE anti malware program to run. OR call your server rep.

On the right hand side of your browser, there is a round wheel that looks like a gear, pull that down and make sure your pop-up blocker is enabled.

Wow, I'm sorry for those of you experiencing this. I've never seen this pop up (or any pop up) on this site.
