Default another computer question

I am using windows 8 and Mozilla Firefox as my browser. I deleted the 'recently bookmarked,' in my bookmarks drop down menu by accident, and really want it back.
I do not have a clue as to how to get it back, I take newly bookmarked sites to their proper folder to refer back to.
Does this make any sense as to what I really want to do, am not familiar with all the windows 8 and FireFox stuff.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

I have a Mac so I am only guessing. But are you saying that you cleared the history? If so, there is no way that I know of to get it back except to look in your "Cookie" folder. If you think you removed your "bookmark section" check your trash.

You may be able to 'reset' your computer to an earlier time, which will bring them back, go into control panel and find 'system restore' and follow the instructions - hope it works

Just finished system restore and the 'recently bookmarked' is NOT back. So is it time for a computer tech to find it.

Oh, try calling your local Senior Center and see if anyone there helps with problems like this. I'm sure it is still something simple.

You must really want that website badly to pay to have a computer tech try to find it. Can't you do a google search on the subject and get close to finding it that way. Another thought have you looked in the trash icon. When you delete other things they go into the trash icon. If you did a system restore however that should have wiped out all your deleted files. System restore is a pretty drastic thing to do.

I don't think a computer tech will be able to help you. Once you delete it, it's gone. You can, however, click on the history and scroll through websites you've visited, you might be able to find it that way.

Hold down the CTRL button and click H. That should bring up a bar on the left side of your screen. You can click "View" and sort by date, most visted, site, etc.

Hope that helps.

The 'recently bookmarked' feature has always been on my computer and use it, as it keeps some bookmarks there until I drop/drag them into the proper titled folder. I have no problem seeing all the sites I have in History. It is the feature named 'recently bookmarked' that will not come up.
After doing the 'undo system restore', it did NOT come back. Not in the recycle bin or trash, as I looked everywhere since I deleted it.

citruscountryquilter, tried to ask Mozilla but just get a bunch of subjects that are totally Greek to me. I only do a few things on the computer, finding and understanding a problem WITH the computer--am at a loss.
Peckish, I have a History tab at the top of my page , right next to the bookmarks tab.

Just called my local Radio Shack and the young man will show me what to do when I take my lap top to him. He said it should come back but needs to see what I have.
Off to see if he can do it.
Thanks all for the input, will be back and let you know how it goes.

Went to town and the young man found my 'recently bookmarked' and it is back and still has the items that need to be put in their proper folders.
He went into the bookmark (something) and it came back, they do things so quick and the store is always busy but am so happy to have everything back to normal. I really try not to do things to mess up the computer.
