Default So he is wrangling this humongous box....

up the long driveway. It's hefted on a shoulder and bulky as can be. Manages to get in in the glass and regular doors with 2 dogs underfoot. Then plumps it upright on the floor. (There sits my first roll of Warm & Natural Q size) The next words out of his mouth were "Well, here it is, your blow-up quilt shop!" It felt so great to laugh!

I 'wrangled" one of those in the house by myself - believe me, he deserves a kiss! And at least you didn't have to flop it on the floor behind the bed in the spare room and keep it under wraps until you came up with an explanation of why you needed so much! Then my dear husband just shrugged and said, oh - on sale, and you use a lot of it - good idea! Gotta love 'em!

Great story. Now, you have the box - are you going to store the batting in the box? I find it hard to take out and cut, so wondering and looking for storage suggestions. I can't put it on a dowel which I think would be ideal.
