I don't text-my phone is because my DH INSIST I need one. So it is in the car and I never use it. I get the 100$ a year phone card and never use the complete thing. Last year it was down to 66$ and I had to top it up so I did and now I have 99$ on it. The expire date is April. Wish I could donate the minutes to charity or something. But ATT just gets richer.

Most of the money went to ATT messages and wrong numbers. My sister is the only one who calls that number and now that it is in the car she has to call the house land line.

I agree. When ever I hear its "FREE" I know it isn't. I am never interested be it by phone, or mail. Even if it really was free I probably don't need it anway. So it's no loss to me.

I received two this week alone. I deleted both as I do not buy from these stores unless I really have too and then I go directly to the store to do so.

Last week I received an original looking email from PayPal saying that they had discovered a third party using my account. It seems they wanted me to sign in on the link provided to stop it right away.....sounded fishy to me. I contacted the REAL PayPal and they said it wasn't them! Luckily, I didn't click on the link, so be careful everyone.

I know what you mean. I have been horribly hacked. It's cost me $249 for support and my yahoo account up and running again. I hope we can get it fixed by tomorrow. My suggestion is do not click on any links. That's my new resolution for the new year. Just saying ............ If I correspond to anyone on the Board through my personal email at Yahoo, I won't get it.

I've received those texts also, but I went a step further than everyone else. I blocked the sender from being able to send texts to me at all. Those 3 am texts are NOT funny. If you google your cell provider and the words "block texts" you should be able to find instructions on how to do this.

Last night on a local T.V. station there was an add that said any one could get a free gift card to use in any store. It was for $50.00! I said to myself "That is impossible" But being inquisitive, I had to see what the catch was. Every hour or so I tried the #, and it was busy. I was laughing harder and harder! The last time I got a lawyers office in Chicago, with a recorded message, saying what office I got and that if I really needed a lawyer I would have to wait awhile as they were changing their #. Some one must have been getting even with his lawyer!! Now my question is, "How could that have been put on T.V. a local station, with out some one checking it out???
