I think Msbaby is correct. I believe you do put your your fingers in the "grooves", your thumb in the round hole and paint your nails.

LOL Yes, you win one. The only thing I like is the dooh dahs for peeling oranges. Got to have a drawer full of those since I got a large family and several orange trees.

it is for painting your nails lol. You put all your finger in are thum in the hole so you do not mess them up
