Homefront with Jason Statham is good, it does have some violence though.

Last Vegas was very funny.

I want to see Saving Mr. Banks also.

Elysium was a good one.

Parkland was good.

Planes was amusing

2 Guns and White House Down had amusing points throughout. Even though they are action flicks.

Olympus Has Fallen is awesome.

Mud with Matthew McConaughey was better than I thought it would be, there is some violence.

42 is great if you like Baseball movies.

Cloud Atlas was so boring and confusing for me, I quit watching it within 15 min.

The Impossible was a tense movie.

The Lucky One is a great chick flick.

For Animation the Lorax was good and the Croods was funny. Hotel Transylvania is hilarious, I loved that movie.

Nebraska was very good. Bittersweet. So was Dallas Buyers Club.

If you can get it, watch 'District 9'. It's a great movie, good for all ages -the first few minutes are wierd, but after that it becomes absolutely riveting.

Boy now I know I really have to get out more! I can't tell you the last time I was in a movie theater and don't watch much TV. The only 2 mentioned here that I have seen is Independence Day and Shawshank Redemption. they were both very good - I think we have seen Shawshank about 3 times and this is from someone who never watches anything twice (well almost never).

if she doesn't want to see sex I wouldn't recommend sons of anarchy. It's a pretty graphic show and i wouldn't watch it with my teens. Planes, Trains and Automobiles has a part with a lot of F-bombs in it.

Night at the museum 1 & 2 are both good and funny too.
National Treasure and the sequel are both good.
The re-make of Yours, Mine and Ours is a good one as well.
