I had never heard of it, so had to Google to find it. How do I join? Looks like I would have to be invited. I don't do instagram, so not sure how ello might work.

I never did join Instagram either...I thought snapchat was the big thing (I haven't joined that either).

ha, ha. never heard of it and don't really know what instagram is either. sad but true. so many new things keep popping up and people navigate to the "new".

shrug, i actually like ello. u don't have to be invited. i would say there are about 1700 quilters on that site. ello works best as an app on the phone but i do use it on the web. i was a bit lost after hgtv closed its message boards. i find inspiration on instagram, pinterest, dribble, twitter and here. every site has something different to offer. if u do find yourself on ello, my name is eileensideways.

ello and instagram are a photo sharing social web service that lets you share your life through a series of pictures. on instagram they have many swaps and challenges and sew-alongs. u can comment and share. ello is an ad-free social network site, an alternative to facebook. ello is a place to discover beautiful art and connect with creators around the world. the quilter community left instagram because it changed its order. the quilters boycotted it and found another alternative. people don't like change.
