thing is that i have all the time in the world, i m not working, i am home due to disabilties(got amongst things fibromyalgi, M.E, wiplash, P,S.O ++++++) so i know i m tired and got little energy due to that too but i normally make atleast one card a day but its been weeks without now.

i m thinking of getting a new sewing machine later, thinking prices are better in UK compared to Norway.

no energy? we all get like that..don't feel creative. i go in spurts..i may sew for 4 or 5 days, and not go near it for a week. it is just the way it is for me.
or there is somthing going on with you..stressed,depressed,maybe a medical condition. you should know your own body. you may just need a short break.
or a nap! lol!
whatever is going on, we're with you!

Sometimes my body demands I rest and makes it happen. I am hyperthyroid so I go on high speed all the time. If I have some stress added in I just go faster and I eat and rest less. Sooooooo, when my body says 'enough!' I might have 3 pajama days in a row. Nap, eat, nap, eat. Then bingo! When my body is rested I pop awake and start the cycle all over again.
Do you feel your body is asking you to rest so you can heal from something?
My best wishes to you.
Regards, Dorothy

I think most of us go through this from one degree to another... it will pass, your body will let you know when it is ready for you to go back to crafting :D:D:D

I have felt that way too, lately.

I was working on a quilt, posting the progress here to keep me going. I got all of the blocks done, or so I thought. I needed to make more to enlarge the pattern.....no problem.

I only have a part-time job, which is only about 10 hours a week. I need something more, but I keep plugging along. No more overtime, either.

I got a call last Sunday about, believe it or not, a paper route. Went down there on Wednesday at 9:30 to fill out the paper work and get the info and instructions I needed. The guy tells me that he found out about an hour before I got there that the girl decided to keep it. It bugged me that he didn't even try to call me to tell me so that I wouldn't have to drive there, he had enough time.

So, I've been doing a lot of sleeping and can't seem to get the energy to do anything but lay around the house in my pj's.

Hopefully, this will pass soon.

If this just last for a few days, it's not too bad. But if you are wanting to sleep and not do anything else, and it goes on for too long, please see a doctor about anti-depressants.

It makes me feel so much better reading this post. I have multiple chronic health disorders so I work slowly.
It makes me feel guilty.
Why? i do not know. Maybe bc ppl ask me what I've been sewing bc they don't realize that some ppl just can't sew all the time.
I am an empty nester but my hubby is disabled now, so underfoot sometimes, which hinders my creativity sometimes, plus he is spoiled!
I am on a project now, and going at it steady, but to someone healthy they would think, is that all you got done?
What can i say? it's not perfect, but it's satisfactory to me, and I can be a little fussy with my own stuff sometimes.
Sunnyhope, I should take my own advice and let's give ourselves a break, ok? I'll try if you will ;-)

We all get burnt out sometimes. Don't worry you'll be crafting soon.
