Dr. Gott says to lose weight, we just need to cut out sugar and flour, which I haven't managed to do yet.

Yea that is what this diet does, it gives you the minimum protein your body needs, no fats, no carbs, Day one was today went alright, I get to eat all the lettuce I want and two cups of veggies, is a lot!

Yes, I lost 48 pounds on it in 4 months and my friend lost 40 in 3 months. Make sure to take vitamins and drink lots of water.

It's easy to follow. After the first 3 days, you will stop craving carbs. I need to go back on it. I quit before I reached goal. Went on vacation and haven't got back on the program.

You eat no fat? You do know your body needs 21g of fat a day for it to function properly? That is the minimum.

http://www.facebook.com/IdealProteinLohja

Here is a link to a gentleman out in Finland who has come up with some incredibly yummy recipes using the Ideal Protein food, I have to say today for lunch I had the butterscotch pudding, YUM, plate full of lettuce, chopped cucumbers, califlower, mushrooms, with a dressing of one tbs olive oil, splash of apple cider and fresh herbs

I am sorry, no you do get fat, the food packets they have provide some of the fat and then you are to use 2 tablespoons of olive oil a day, I use it in my salad dressings, cause I love it. Also they give you supplements to take, one of mine is the Omega three fish oil. My doctor reviewed the diet and thought it was a great idea for someone who is obese as me with incredibly high cholestrol. However, she is going to monitor me along the way, I trust my doctor completely she has been with me a very very long time.
