Maybe I am starting..finally! My DH offerred me a piece of his KitKat and I said NO!!!!! I received so much candy for Easter - decided on one small or half (depending on size) a day. Sugar free jelly beans - maybe 4?? Wish me luck.

See my Rheumatologist this week and I know I gained! Thank goodness it is not my Cardiologist.
Had a bad rain storm in the middle of the night and I am hurting so bad...off to bed instead of cleaning my studio.

Luck to all.

Beautiful spring flowers.

Yes from what I could tell it is for counting calories, and sort of making a plan. I like Livestrong, because it has that plus a lot of articles too that can be encouraging along with recipes.

PenniF I hope your husband finds something that works for him too.

Yes and there are some other things you can do with it like set a goal. I use the free part but if you pay about $40 a year you can get other features. It has really helped me to see what I am doing by eating or not eating certain things. You can maybe try it and check it out or atleast the free part.

Good morning, y'all. I stopped in to see how you are doing and see how to keep my weight from going back up - it has started to creep a little. I went to loseit.com. If I want to lose 1.5 pounds a week, I get 924 calories a day. That seems restrictive to me. My mindset has been to never go below 1200. I didn't think it was advisable to do so as it's hard to get sufficient nutrients in your diet below 1200 calories. The site probably won't help me as I do better restricting carbs than counting calories. I can't eat many carbs and lose weight. I finished the bean soup so now to get rid of the cookies and curtail my candy habit so I can get back on track.

The clematis are lovely. I am envious of the longer growing seasons some areas have. I've still got ice in some of my gardens, but at least the ice the lake opened up this week. I have some serious quilting to do just when it getting flower season. Two weddings, two showers and two babies. The baby quilts are pieced and are on the machine for quilting. One baby quilt is finished and delivered. I finally had a new great granddaughter so I could do a pink one. Nice after several boys. MQC Falling Charms turned out cute. I'll see if the pic will post. Hey, it worked. First one from my camera. Wishing you all a good, healthy eating day.

Irishrose2 that is a very pretty baby quilt. I have got to make one for a girl at the gp's office where I go, but it's not due until November so I have plenty of time. On the other hand, I am thinking of what coffeegirl said, that April is half over. It's like I want to say, Stop! lol...

Today was easy to stay on track with my calories due to feeling a bit queezy.

Another website that might be helpful is www.myfitnesspal.com I used it last year and lost weight since it helped me monitor my calorie intake and exercise. However, I haven't used it in several months--maybe I should start again!

Sounds like several people are getting back on track--that's great! I haven't been snacking in-between meals but haven't resumed the exercise like I should.

Pat, I realized yesterday that I hadn't sent you my FQs yet. I will check my stash and try to get them in the mail in the next few days.

I received 3 pretty FQ from AnnaQuilts. Today was apparently dessert day at work. I was a bad girl. I have some really good strawberry pie. Someone brought a gorgeous chocolate cake. It is from a bakery, the baker is from Greece. OH MY was it good. I think it was iced with chocolate mousse. It was almost too pretty to eat. Back on the wagon tomorrow.
Today was a busy day at school I was covering my schedule and someone elses again today. I had 7500 steps in by the time I left school.
