well i sounds like some want to continue to mail them at the beginning of the month. I am open to that. Later today I will post the new link for September.

I am encouraged by the fact that you want to continue. I promise to do better than I have so far in mailing the winnings. I know it get discouraging not receiving them.

Taking mom to the eye doctor and going to take some hand work with me.

What is the September fabric going to be? Also can you list maybe the next 4 months so that if we want we can send them all at once! It's easier for me to just get them out at one time.

I have to keep working on this!!!!! Got a long way to go in losing weight.

Good morning all
Just weighed myself only 3.7 pounds down for the month. I'm sure thats no winning number but I'll take any down movement.
I'm glad we are continuing this thread. This is the place I come for insperation
Thank you Cindy I know we all are helped by the time you spend on doing this for us all.
OK who is the winner this month?
I need to make a quick gift for our DD for her birthday some kind of table runner I think. Really need to get to it.
do any of you wait until the last minute like me? I seem to do bettter when pressed for time. I hate the pressure but it's something I seem to do over and over.
Well need to take our Jasper for his walk before it gets tooo hot.
Best to all
Gail

Good Morning all...........I am sorry for the late posting of the new thread. I have posted it this morning and here is the link.

http://www.quiltingboard.com/general...ml#post5483125

I will post the theme for the next 4 months in a bit. For Sept it is Fall Fabrics.......what reminds you of fall.

Open to suggestion for the remaining 3 months.

Good luck.

I like the idea of listing what the next 4 months fabrics will be. That way if I'm out and find some good deals I can get them all at once, and send them all at once.

I'm so happy I found this board!! And I am tickled with my weight lose for this month. DH is happy, but worried. Of course the deal is if I lose 50 lbs. (my goal being Dec. 31st for that), he'll quit smoking. As I report the lb or 1/2 lb loss when I weigh myself he is happy for me, but I can see him thinking "uh oh".

Well, today is an "iffy" weather day here, so I'm going to head to the basement and work on a flannel quilt I have laying on the floor. Also hoping to get a few other things done this weekend as well.

the winner will be announce tomorrow, to give people time to PM me their loss.

I always wait to the last minute for gifts.......it is crazy....we all have busy schedules. I am starting to think about Christmas and what I want to do for everyone since I am still out of work. Something that will not take much out of the pocket.

Today's plans are to work on the commisioned T-shirt quilts. I have one of them in progress........shirts cut, stablized, now working on the framing. I am having a blast doing these, will post pics once in a more complete state.

Themes:

September: Fall Fabric......what reminds you of fall
October: Greens - what ever reminds you of Christmas
November: Shades of Blue and White for the reminder of snow and sky
December: Reds......preparing for Loveand life.

Please share your suggestions of what you would want in a theme for fat quarters.

Default weight loss adventure

I'm all for continuing this. I've slacked this month, but do enjoy this. It really has seemed to help me get on track and start losing a few pounds. Mailing to you at the beginning or to the winner at the end.....either one is fine with me. I love the idea of having the four months theme.

I do know that if we do continue, instead of mailing the FQ's to me at the beginning of, will be mailing to the winner at the end of the month like we use to. I have 4 months that i need to mail to winners. I am sorry I havent mailed them out. I hope to be able to mail them this week.

Please give me some input on what you guys want.
