so glad I posted this and all of you got to enjoy seeing it. It sure put a big lump in my throat, almost like a story I could write...about helping someone along lives way...some by tugging them along, some by lifting them up, some by pushing, but in totality...all loving enough to do whatever part they needed to make life better. I am so glad all of you liked this posting. God bless you and yours.

I live in Galveston, TX, and the city recently moved an oak tree that was over 100 yrs. old. They used a company that used the similar procedures to move it. Amazing! I never thought that could be done.

so glad you liked the video. I'd love to live out in the country with trees all around. My hubby wouldn't ...he always thinks of trees blowing over and falling on the house. We had a small redwood the wind blew over, (not in our yard) and it took out a small part of the back fence from our backyard neighbor. Man came over and apologised and took care of all the repairs plus cutting the tree the rest of the way down. We appreciated his honesty and help. We are in our early 70's and it would have been harder on us if he hadn't done what was right.
