I received a box from my Mom the other day.

While waiting for my truck to warm up (was zero that morning) I opened the box and just had to laugh as I unpacked it.

Most of the items in the box were things I had given to her over the years.

The large heart patchwork is a 5 yd piece I got from Walmart over 20 years ago...its one of the quilt tops they use to carry. It's over 6' wide. It still had the price ticket on it... oh my, it was $2.50 a yard!

The other fabrics were 5 - 6 yard pieces that were to be used for quilts (and then mailed back to me) but the idea was for them to be finished before they came back to me...lol...what a hoot.

She also had a couple kits of precuts -- Sunbonnet Sue & a Dresden plate design, that I had sent to her to keep her busy. Oh well, the thought was good.

Also she returned some of the tole painting items I thought were long gone.

It was pretty funny...I bet she was laughing the whole time she packed the box.

Overall shot

I know the feeling, I gave a gift to a neighbor and two years later I got it back by her telling me she did a special trip to get that gift for me, I thought it was funny to see that I am not the only one
