I sure wish I could soak in the tub, but with my back injury, I can't even get in one. thank you and God bless.

I have suffered from fibro for 25 years.I don't have any pain free days. I am going to try epsions salt tomorrow night. This summer I started to take Omega 3 ,6 ,9 and I have found it to be very helpful with the tender muscles. The bottoms of my feet were so tender I always had to have soft footware. since I have been taking omega I can walk with nothing on my feet.In the mornings I would hate to have to put my feet on the floor but now I have no problem. Hope the epsions salt help a little with the pain. Thanks for the tip. we need all we can get.

That's exactly what I was thinking Ditter. Watch the heat and don't stand up too quickly.

You can make the water not quite as hot, so that you are not making it bad for you, and it is still effective for your body.

dar, if you don't have family who could come stay with you for the short time while you are bathing and using your hottub, to assist you in and out and be there if you need help, perhaps you could contact your local social security services and see if you wouldn't qualify for a home health aide to come in to assist you with those things on a regular basis. They would also help you with heavier house keeping and whatever tasks of daily living that you are having difficulty managing on your own.
To investigate this possibility, begin with a call to the nurse at your physician's office and a call to the local social security benefits office.

I wish I had a bathtub. We had our bathroom remodeled to make it handicap accessible for my mom and only have a shower. I can't remember what it's like to have no pain. I'd love to try this.

Could you get one of those small portable spas and put it some where in your house/porch. We lived in a mobile home before with no bath and ended up getting a spa for me to sit in. Warm water can be so nice for those aches and pains.
