    I found this video on You Tube and made the bathing suit this afternoon for my granddaughter's doll.

    I made a bikini for mine(craft fairs) using a halter top I shortened, panties and then made a ruffled skirt for a cover up. I love making the clothes but now no more craft fairs since I moved to MT. You could make the tank to longer for the cover up.

Size:  969.5 KBHere is the bathing suit I started with, an infant size from The Dollar Tree - $!.00 - I am trying to upload the one I made from it once I took it apart. A laborious and time consuming effort! I don't know why the other picture won't upload. Will keep trying.

    I think I got it this time.

    Here is the bathing suit I made for the American Girl Doll using that Dollar Store one for fabric and elastic.
