Yesterday I watched my Grandson and I was appliqueing a teddy bear on my 4 year old Grandson's quilt and every time I would stick the needle into the fabric He would start crying and he called me a mean Grandma and he would start crying. I asked him why I was so mean and he told me I was hurting his bear! I found out that he had cut his finger at home a few days ago and had to have a few stitches. I had to stop and set my quilting to the side for the rest of the day.

Oh children are so fabulous! I hope that his finger is better soon; you should applique a bandaid on his bear. Just a thought to remind you of this day and for him also.

Nice idea to put the bandaid on the bear but he would cry for his bear every time he would see the bandaid. He is Very sensative child.
