If its the Golden Girls that is a funny program. It has Bea Arthur, Rue McClenahan (I think that is her name) Betty White and another gal - they are friends who live together - That show has been in reruns for years but I laugh everytime I watch a program. I like programs that make you laugh - Big Bang Theory is another one that I laugh with. And Two Broke Girls.

Another funny show about sisters is "Keeping Up Appearances" its on PBS and hilarious. Four sisters live in England and Hyacinth is the bossy one, Violet is rich, Daisy is a slob, and Rose is man-crasy. Add a Daffy Daddy, long-suffering husbands and great neighbors and it will have you laughing.

I've been watching "Golden Girls" reruns because now I can relate! Too funny. Lena, as with so many of American comedies, I bet "Golden Girls" is based on the British "Keeping Up Appearances."

I don't think so Evie. Many Brits in my area . I checked that the show started in 1992 and has been stopped for yrs.
Keeping U A only showed Violet a few times. They don't all live together. As a watcher of Brit shows I bought the 18 yr series of "Heartbeat". The man I bought from was selling series and he had over 70 shows to buy but I have seen all of K U Appearances at least twice. Very very funny show as well as golden girls

The Golden Girls is the one with Bea Arthur but The Golden Sisters is on the Oprah Winfrey Network . They are two different shows but the latter one is new but the names almost are alike but they are different . The Golden Girls is a sitcom but the Golden Sisters is a realty-type show.

The Golden Sisters are three elderly sisters who say just what is on their minds. I think they started on utube and had quite a following. They are really funny. Seems like when you get old you can get away with saying things you never would have when you were younger.
