Been a Long Time Since I've Made a Little Girl's Dress

Since we moved closer to my DH's familly, I have "inherited" several grandchildren - ages 6 months to 9 years. There are 2 girls, both 2 years old, so decided I should make some dresses. I'm making long shorts for the boys. This pattern is called Butterscotch.

How nice of you to use your talents for your "inherited" grandkids! Fun to go back to sewing things you haven't done in a while, isn't it? The dress is adorable - you do nice work!

Adorable pattern. Did you create the pattern or buy it? If you bought it, could up please share the name. It would make a cute dress for my GD.

I have 13 grandkids and 11 of them are boys. We are now expecting 2 great grandaughters and I can't wait to get back to sewing for girls. Right now I am doing diaper bags, burp clothes, a changing blanket, and general layette, but girly dresses are definitely in my future
