Default Bissell Spot Clean Pro

I told my DH that someone here would have the answer to our dilemma. He disassembled our spot cleaner and has this piece left over. Can someone tell us what it is/where it goes?

Thanks!

Thanks Feater3. We have looked at those but can't identify our little part.

I don't know what that part is but maybe you can call the Parts Warehouse for help. Feather 3 gave you the link to their website

https://www.partswarehouse.com/Bisse...624-s/5949.htm

They may know what it is from a verbal description or you can possibly email them a photo.

DJ, could it be the #6, Cap & Straw (according to picture at partswarehouse) - it's hard to distinguish in the picture, but sure looks like it could be.

No, it not that. My portable steam cleaner has the same cap and straw piece.

It looks to me like it is the part that goes at the bottom of the clean water tank or else in the machine body where the clean water tank rests. If it's for the tank there should be a round screw plastic screw band that holds it in place.
