Thanks for sharing the picture of the big Black Bear

(we have coyotes in our area, we don't feed them but they still come around at night time by our windows and howl up a storm at us) scary

Beautiful creature....so sad their environment is being destroyed. Thanks for sharing the pic, I really appreciate being able to see all the amazing things your country has to offer.

Thanks for sharing! Loved getting to see the pics. I think it's really nice of you guys to leave some food out for the deer and squirrels :)

It's really too bad that the humans are forcing bears, coyotes, fox, cougars, wolves, deer, raccoons and other critters into areas that they normally wouldn't venture into. People are doing this all in the name of progress. It really corks my jaws when I drive through areas and see abandoned buildings and homes but 'man' feels he has to clear woods and natural habitats to build new structures. Tear down these old abandoned areas to build your new. Leave the wildlife areas alone. They aren't coming into areas where the humans live by choice. 'We' are causing this to happen. Stop building these new office buildings, condos and housing developments out in the country where we have to destroy the wildlife habitats.

I live in a city and within the past 8 weeks they have cited a black bear, a cougar and coyotes within the city limits. AND we aren't feeding them but they're here.

• Wild animals need habitat not handouts - too bad we're destroying their habitat. Then they wouldn't have a reason to come scrounging.

Sorry for venting but the humans are causing this. JMHO I know it's got to be scary for you all to see bear so close to your homes.

Lab thank you for sharing the pics with us! I love bears but do respect them. We have black bear here in E. Okla. but I have not personally seen them. Good for you to feed the deer and such! If stupid humans destroy their natural habitat then they have to go into more civilized areas for food. I also agree....Let them build where the dilapidated, run down bldgs are so they are not such an eye sore. One day we will have no true nature left. Sad. Thanks again for sharing the pics.

I never ever ever want to see a bear anywhere near my house or cottage. Terrified of them.
