Okay, as usual, more questions than answers. But this show brought out some information, etc. that really stuck with me.

SPOILERS...SPOILERS...SPOILERS...SPOILERS

1. James Spader CONTINUES to rock. When he expounds on the peach that he's eating, I just loved it!
2. Lizzie continues to be stupid. My husband said that this shows makes government entities look really foolish She seems to me that she couldn't possibly be FBI, because she just doesn't make good choices.
3. Lizzie's wig has gotten better from the beginning of the season, but it still bothers me (picky, picky, I know)
4. The guy that they thought was Berlin was talking on the phone (I think he was talking to Tom) said to kill the other female agent and he would take care of "the ginger" himself. That would be Ressler. Does that mean that Ressler has more going on than we know?
5. Okay, if you are going to shoot someone that is evil, WHY don't you make sure they are dead?!?! Tom has disappeared after being shot multiple times.
6. Scars on Red's back seems further proof that he is Lizzie's father - I've thought that since day one.
7. Berlin and Red have the same picture of some girl. Significance?
8. I think it's a bad idea to have Berlin played by someone as recognizable as Peter Stormare.

I have really enjoyed this show this season, MOSTLY because of James Spader. Personally, I think they are going to need to flesh out the FBI characters a bit more if they have any hope of us caring what happens to them. The head of the task force looks like he will pull through - that's nice, but I really don't care about him. They haven't given us any information about him. The only reason I care about Ressler is because I can see him and Lizzie getting involved in the future (and maybe he can teach her to be a decent agent!)

Did Lizzie intentionally not shoot Tom to be sure he was dead? Did she let him slither away on purpose?
I thought the ginger referred to Red.
Lizzie may be stupid, but she is a pretty good fighter!

I agree that James Spader is the only reason to watch this show. I have been a fan for many years. My DH and I watch many of these shows and they make the women so annoying, sometimes I just want to slap the producers. I think all of your ideas are on target, we have many questions we are asking too.

I read these comments about "Blacklist" with interest as I, too, get somewhat confused with all that happens. Not too fond of all the FBI characters, the head of the unit in particular. How does such a doofus get in that position. I also still want to think that Spader is Liz's father.....I use to base that on their eyes.....now with the back shot, it's even a stronger feeling. I will anxiously await next season. Can't figure out what the end game here will be. If Spader's true identity is discovered, how will they spin the story. Maybe this will only last one more season???? And, I agee, that Tom shouldn't be alive anymore.....that one has long escaped me.....

Oooh, I didn't think about "the ginger" referring to Red. That's a possibility as well!

Could Red have had his guys remove Tom's carcass? Red being father - Red always closes his mouth firmly after every sentence he speaks. Watch Lizzies mouth (near the end) she does the same. Never noticed before!

Look at Lizzie's and Reddington's upper lip, SAME. That's what gave it away to me in the beginning. The only thing I don't like about the show is the 10:00 p.m. show time. I go to bed still tense or agrivated, lol. As for the girl's picture, I wonder if that is Lizzie, and if Red and Berlin were rivals for Lizzie's mom?

I notice you live in SW Wash same as I do. If you have DirectTV try channel 396 ? at 7pm! (My only complaint is having the characters (Ton & Lizzie) appearing in commercials during the episode! Talk about taking them out of character!!)

I think the girl in the photo is Red's dead wife and Lizzie's mother. That would make her Berlin's granddaughter that he doesn't know about.

so many sub plots. you all can write next season for us and maybe make the 'women' look better
and smarter.
