Bowling towel
Can someone please tell me where to find a design to put on bar towels.
My sister heard me say that I have a simple machine, and now she wants me to make the students she takes bowling some bowling towels (crying towel). She works at a school for disabled children and the students stay at the school. I'm not a bowler so any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

I have a very simple Brother SE400. I think it is PES.
I'm thinking that maybe I should tell her no or find a site for her to buy towels already made.
My son just started getting sick. So I will not be on to much today.

When I did bowling towels, I found a picture of a bowling pin in a coloring book or something like that and just made appliques and put them on the towels. It's easier than finding embroidery patterns. I had a book with sports patterns in it one time, andit had patterns for all the ball sports, plus golf, bowling, etc. I think I finally gave it away as I don't do that kind of work any more. If you look, you can find all kinds of applique patterns in the most unlikely places.

Bowling towels are the size towel in between the hand towel size and the washcloth size. It'd be so quick and easy to buy some and embroider or applique something nice on them. What a great thing for you to do for her class!
